I'm a newbie here, though I've been lurking since purchasing a PIP last April.
    Mods to date:
FIAMM horns, installed those within a month of purchasing the PIP
    H9 headlight bulbs
Dash cam, installed that after some knucklehead turned in front of me, causing $7k damage to my almost brand new car :(

After work today, I started on a small sound dampening project and finished the driver's door. I applied several pieces of Dynamat to the outer door skin and two very small pieces on a couple "tinny" sections of the inner door skin. Then, I covered the inner skin with Frost King, sealing the edges with foil tape.
Now the driver's door has the same solid thump as the 2012 Mercedes that I had before getting this PIP.
Tomorrow, I will do the passenger front and will attack the rear doors later in the week.

hat tip to sfprankster for the frost king idea

modification to the existing bumper is required. You need to drill holes (3/16 drill bit) into the spots indicated. then basically screws on. I dont have fogs, but wanted a mesh grille to not use foam electrical tubes anymore when grille blocking in the winter.

was definitely a hard decision though since I almost ordered the ebay yellow fog kit. but remembered I barely used them in the jeep.

Well, I was going to attempt to install my horns today since it's finally in the mid 40's (and rain expected tomorrow). but I learned there is very little room to work (as compared to my Prius v). And I really do need a 14mm wrench. But since I had the front emblem off I decided to try switching the blue out.

Thanks again to @Starbrand I had a copy of the emblem to play around with the colors. This is just a first test, I picked a green close to the color of my license plate holder, but it ended up a bit lighter than I wanted it to be. I'll need to scan in the license plate holder for an exact color match. Then I printed it out on normal paper and covered both front and back with a layer of 'printable transparent adhesive plastic sheets' for some protection against the elements. Hopefully it's completely sealed. Once I get the exact color match I'll switch them out.

    Please excuse the dirty car.

Finished sound dampening the passenger front door.
To do both front doors, I used a little under 3 sq ft of Dynamat xtreme, mostly on the outer door skins and used 9.5 linear feet of Frost King and some foil tape to seal the inner door skins before putting the door panels back on. I have pics, but the site won't let me upload them at this time. I tap on the outside of the doors and it no longer sounds like a tinny drum and when closing the doors, it feels and sounds very much like my 2012 C250 coupe.

The Frost King material is quite easy to work with, but you do need to clean it once you've applied to the door, or else the foil tape doesn't stick. The adhesive on the Frost King closed cell foam is much better than I had expected, the foil tape might be overkill.

Some thoughts and a lesson learned yesterday... don't try removing the stock inner plastic barrier and its tacky black butyl adhesive when your car has been sitting in the sun. Also don't wear nitrile gloves when messing with that stuff because it just latches onto the gloves. I spent an hour just cleaning that gooey mess off the driver side door yesterday, before I could start with the real work.
Today I kept the car in the garage and the butyl adhesive mostly stayed attached to the plastic as I pulled it from the door. Removing the plastic and cleaning up the inner door skin took only 15 minutes.

Drilling out the rivets on the speakers was more trouble than I thought it would be.

    Another peek-a-boo.

I'm now done with suspension upgrades. Took it out for a quick spin earlier and with the combination of the rear sway bar, Ultra Brace and the Tanabe front brace the handling has been improved markedly. There's a right turn I can usually make at around 30mph (with plenty of body roll) without them and now close to 40mph with them. The car's chassis also felt stiffer so the ride is a lot calmer on the highway (can't really explain it but it also can be a placebo effect). Overall I'm very happy with the upgrades.

I'll try this now with pickshures...

Virgin door (yes, at this point I realized I had left the window down)

Here's a pic of the factory dampening material. No wonder the doors sound like a kid's drum when you tap on the door

    Dynamat installed
You can see a few of the pieces. The yellow boxes are roughly where I stuck Dynamat and the red boxes are roughly where the factory dampening material is attached.

A close up just before starting with the Frost King

Top half of Frost King installed loosely so that I could poke holes where screws etc., need to be and so that I can slip the bottom half under for about an inch of overlap

Bottom half of Frost King installed, taped up and ready for door panel

and interior shot of the tints. I like how much darker the ceramic turned out on the outside in my other post. and the front windshield I had to go 7 inches.. little over what you SHOULD do in my state, but had to cover the dots.
Both hatch windows were tinted as well and matched pretty well.
and another angle. still looks so dark at 32%! $180 for everything (la grange, IL). Might go back for $50 taillight tints.
