While driving tonight I was making a right turn and I heard two short beeps and my interior light flashed on and off two times. This happened three more times after stopping and when I put my foot on the gas again the interior light came on and then off again, no flashing or no beeps. Has this happened to anyone before and if so do you know why?

I just hit my 16,000 mile mark on my 2014 Prius C two. Thanks in advance for any help.

Is your key/fob being crushed in your pocket?

No key fob. My guess is it's a warning for something but I don't know what cause I didn't do anything different than I normally do. I tried looking it up in the manual and can't find anything.

Possibly a problem with door (including hatch) switches or associated wiring?

I was going to say that a wire might be getting pinched with the change of weight vectors..........
But a loose door latch is a MUCH more likely cause, or one of the door sensing switches.

This might be a good test of whether your dealer's service department is competent or not.

Seat belt stuck in door ??

This happened to me a couple of weeks ago; I had not properly closed the hatch door.

That's exactly what it was, the hatch door was not shut tightly. Thanks everyone for your responses. Problem solved.
