Consider that lots of your work accesses may be monitored. The excuse is inappropriate web sites. The reality is someone is often taking note of where you visit from your work network.

Can't say I like the display of the newest iteration of the PriusChat web site as well as previous as it used to put all of the forum headers for a specific model on one screen without scrolling but certainly no technical problems with latest Firefox.

I have bad news and good news. The bad news is that my work computer died. The good news is that they had to give me a new one. So now instead of XP and IE 8, I have Windows 8 and IE 11.

    PriusChat looks fine now.

This is just pathetic. It will give some senior citizens a heart attack.

If they want to change/improve the software they supply for web browsing........then just DO that.......and still call it Explorer.

I am still pissed off that they did away with Outlook Express. That was another bonehead move; the replacement sucks.

Did the new update include adding skimwords or skimlinks advertising?
I'm trying to determine if I have a virus or it is just a feature of PriusChat forum.
I am seeing underlined links on key words. For example headlights or ipad.
If I hover over them they say something like, "shopping link provided by skimlinks.
I don' t recall. Seeing this before.

Nope, Danny added that a while ago.

It was addressed to some degree in this thread from August 2014: Different CSS style for skimwords links? | PriusChat

Okay. I'm still going to follow up a bit because the amount of some of the ads are getting very dense. More dense than I would expect. Some of the posts are actually becoming hard to read.

A minor nit, I'm trying to understand the importance of rectangular icons:

FACEBOOK TWITTER LINKEDIN GOOGLE+ POCKET REDDIT PINTEREST EMAIL

They appear as a row below the reply I'm typing in. But something really useful is the link just below these icons that jumps to the uber-index list of all threads in this forum:

    • The link "PriusChat Website Questions" is useful - displays a page showing all unread threads so we can review associated threads in a forum we have an interest ... because we are posting a reply.
    • What are we supposed to use the list of FACEBOOK TWITTER LINKEDIN ... icons for? Running away from a PriusChat forum we are adding to a thread?
Personally, I would prefer to have the less-useful, icons list show up after the very useful, "PriusChat Website Questions" link. There may be a reason why we should run off to these other sites but I have not figured it out ... "#PostedPriusChat" ???

In the world of nits, this is not so big but tweaked my curiosity.

    Thanks,
    Bob Wilson

My guess is that they "transport" you to those services and quote the post above.......with an ad for THIS site prominently attached.

I won't be touching any of them any time soon because of my previous bad experience letting the site use my Facebook information to create my account here.

    Mine too!

Facebook requires its own, isolated, junk e-mail account or a rule to toss it into the Junk folder. I really hate Facebook which is more like 'in your Face" with little 'book' quality or content. I still don't see the advantage.

Regardless, the row of icons would be more useful swapped with the link to the specific forum.

No error msg, and the abort was immediate, killing Safari and just returning me to the iPad's home page.
HOWEVER, I finally found that using the Chrome browser to sign in with the iPad, I can in fact go back to edit in a posting by pressing on the page and holding my finger down for about 2 seconds. Will now check if I can upload pics from a Chrome session.

Mope, still can't post pics using the iPad and the Chrome browser.

On an Turn off signatures in Tapatalk Safari, getting to the Alerts page has gotten cumbersome, in the last day or two. If I recall correctly, it used to be one touch, two at most. Now I i have to wind through about four screens to get there.

Every now and then, I take someone off of my "Ignore user" list to see if they have improved or moved on. I did that today only to discover their posts were still functionally 'ignored.' Not a big problem, I did my quality check by other means. So I'm not in a great hurry. I'll send details by PM if you need them.
