I am interested in the 2015 tangerine Splash color and wonder if anyone has taken delivery of one and could answer any questions for me? Does the paint have any metallic in it or is it just pearl? How does the car appear in low light, especially if it doesn't have any metallic in it as pearl can appear a little flat at night? Thanks in advance!
Well, I should be getting mine in about a Month they said. So I will find out then. Lol. Hopefully someone gets one before Us so we both will know.
Here are 2 Habernero c's parked next to each other, in low light, covered in a dusting of snow... Just snapped the pic a couple minutes ago after I read your post. Lol. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the picture. Did you notice if it looked like the Old Mango(looked peach to me). I Hope this is more of a Orange like the fruit. (or Neon Orange).
Def. more of an orange peel color. Kinda akin to my old Charger which was orange too. It was called Header Orange.
It's sparkly, there's metallic flakes in it. Can't say. I only saw it under bright light. Isn't that Habernero? This is Tangerine Splash, which replaces Habernero.
You are most likely totally correct. I didn't realize there was a new orange that came out. I like that tangerine a lot!!!! The ones I took a pic of (haberno you say) seemed kinda like a flatter orange, not much sparkle... Mods feel free to delete my last 2 post if I was describing the wrong color... Sorry.

Sorry.[/QUOTE] Hmm, the photos and videos are confusing me. The photos I posted look very similar to what I saw in real life. However, the videos of the 2015 Tangerine Splash show a much more orange colour, almost like Habernero (as opposed to the yellowish orange shown in the photos I attached). I'm sure it's not Sun Fusion since Sun Fusion is a bright yellow. It could be lighting. Best for the OP to see it in real life if possible but for now, I'm certain that the ones I posted are Tangerine Splash Pearl.
I know it's just me only: I rather riding a bus to commuter than sitting inside any vehicle with this color or yellow (except taxi).
So, this is habanero color that I got on my 14 C... paint color is spot on w/ the pepper! mine has flakes too.
I just picked up mine yesterday, traded my 2013 Moonglow for the 2015 Tangerine Splash Pearl. Love all the upgrades and changes they have done
Per Toyota Corp, Habanero is more orange. The new color Tangerine Splash that has replaced Habanero for 2015 does have a more yellow tone to it and sparkle to it. I have yet to see one on the road or at my local dealer.
