Hi all, I have just joined the forum, as my name suggests I am a bit of a battery boffin i suppose you could say. I live in Northampton UK, have just bought a 2008 prius which is lovely I also own a Honda Civic Gen 1 hybrid. I am still learning about the prius & it looks like there is a lot to know!!! Hopefully, you will have something to add to the several ongoing battery maintenance and repair threads. Many are experimenting with ways to increase the life of our very expensive NiMH hybrid batteries, and there is still much to learn in this regard.

You may want to contact another UK Priuschat member - "aminorjourney" .... she is great .... converted her own Gen II into a plug-in. If you want to talk traction packs - I'm certain she could be a wealth of information. .
