Hi everybody, I have oportunity to buy relatively cheap (~500 USD) 2014 Prius+ battery. As far as I understand European Prius+ is US Prius v model? Will battery modules fit my 2010 Gen III Prius? I can expect some battery problems in the nearest future after using Enginer kit for almost 3 years and PIS kit for 1 year up to now. Regards, Jacek.
I thought the Prius+ used Li-Ion batteries. The US Prius v does not. You could not use Li-Ion Prius+ cells in a 2010 Gen III Prius if I'm right.
The P/N of the HV battery assembly is G9280-47190. How to recognize is it ni-mh or li-ion? Thank you, Jacek.
The european version of the v (the "+") has third row seating. They used a Li-Ion battery to provide the space for that.
Yes, but Prius+ Li-Ion battery pack is only 1kWh (similar to NiMH in standard Prius) when PiP is 4.4Kwh as fa r as I know. Jacek.
