Of course, planned on doing two mods today...

...and only completed the easier of the two... :(

...a mod so easy a caveman could do it...

Replaced the stock shifter knob with a leather TRD shift knob w/Rude person's adapter:
    IMG_5255.JPG

...and picked up the key pieces to the Audio Upgrade Stage III:
    IMG_5253.JPG

Now if doesn't rain tomorrow, I'll be busy with the speaker installation and front door sound dampening of the last stage of my audio upgrade.

Just in time for a road trip to Paso Robles on Saturday. :p

Picked up new 17" steelies and had my winter Continental's mounted at Discount Tire. Couldn't have happened at a better time, blizzard like conditions today and they are amazing. Love Discount Tire, amazing customer service! 32% tint install tomorrow.

Cool stereo upgrades. All I've done was added powered subwoofers under my seat. Happy with it for now. Fits nicely without sacrificing any space.

My old Honda Civic is another story. Pioneer Premier head head unit head unit and head unit and wave amplifier, 2 Rockford Fosgate old school amplifiers to to power 2x12s subwoofers and kenwood highs and mids. Those were the good old days.(y)

You remember the sport compact car magazines?

    Well...
We changed the ATF. Prius is good for another year.

Oh forgot to mention, there was a surprise in the engine bay. While the mechanic was inspecting, topping off all the fluids and doing an inspection of the engine bay, he found a nose plier wedged in one of the fans. Crazy. Must have been from my friend that installed my fog lights. I was surprised the pliers did not cause any problems or cause any of the warning lights to come on. The mechanic reassured me that everything is in working order. That was scary.:censored:

Those HRE's would look just as good on your Prius as they do on the Tesla... Beautiful !!!

Today I learned my Prius is like an old Revell snap together model from the 80's...
...only with a lot more pieces and requiring a much higher skill level to disassemble/reassemble.

Audio Upgrade Stage III has begun... o_O

Got as far as removing the passenger door speaker, mounting a Metra speaker bracket and running the speaker wire, for the tweeter, to the space behind the A pillar. All in under 2 hours(OK, maybe 3 :cautious: ), before running out of daylight.

    Prius Law #24:
If you don't have any panel clips around, you will break several removing a door panel... :cautious:

If you do have extra panel clips laying around, they will never break... :p
    IMG_5308.JPG

Fortunately, I ordered a bag a while back, when I did the rear wiper delete and mounted the 3rd brake light flasher module. ;)
