12-Volt Battery Questions

And you know that exactly HOW ??

While it might not be true for this specific design, I've been in the Electronics field for a bit more than 50 years not and it absolutely is true of the 12 V. systems in other vehicles.......a LOT of them.

They are not designed to work properly without a battery in place.

Unless you have specific knowledge resulting from extensive testing, I think it is irresponsible to suggest that running without a battery is OK.

How about some references for YOUR "unproven supposition" and/or some credentials to back up your claim ???

Not only participating but you started it.

I gave you my qualifications......and indicated that it was my OPINION that running without the battery is bad advice.......based on a pretty thorough education and a LOT of practical experience.
You have offered nothing in the way of substantiation of your OPINION.

So it seems that it just remains that we have differing opinions because I certainly will NOT be driving my car with the battery disconnected just as an experiment. Have you done that ??
