Does this minor body damage need repair?

    Narrow parking garage, ouch. Will rain damage anything if it gets into the seam? Thanks!

    The long and short sections just above the seam is the likely place it might rust. If you don't plan on getting it fix anytime soon, get a little clear nail polish and paint those areas.

    But before you try that, it is hard to tell if it really is scrapped to bare metal, if you have some paint thinner/acetone wipe down the scraped areas on the plastic and metal fender edge, if it just paint it will come off. You might fine that all that is there is just paint from the garage.

    Clean the front fender good and if it has any scrapes to metal paint them to stop it from rusting. Bumper will look a lot better if you clean it but that’s only cosmetic.
