Can' start Prius

    Yes I realized that, this was for others that may experience the same problem. If you remember on Gen 2, we had people recover ready condition only to lose it again when trying to start. Because: they did not charge it enough .

    Another subject: where do I find. New Thread ? TY. Bisco

    yes, dianne has latched onto it.:) i agree, jumping the car and moving on without further testing is a fool's errand.

    Hi All, car is up and running and i have taken about 2 hour total trip today after we jumped it. There was some parking warning after car started but it went away once i moved car from parking to drive etc.. We will measure voltage on battery to see how it is. It is 2010 Prius 5 model.. someone stated battery could go up to 6 years . Caring jump cables behind car seat is really good idea .

    Severely discharging the battery shortens it's life though. Definitely monitor its condition.
