Does anyone know if the cover on the stock knob can be taken apart, smoked, and put back together? to get the following look:
Unscrew it, mask it, spray it with something like VHT Nightshades tinting spray, clear coat it. Reinstall. SCH-I535
my only issue with this is that the letters will also get tinted, and overtime you may see peeling/more wear. the best way would be to take it apart and tint on the back of the cover, thus keeping the letters white and also for long term effect.
I see you have a RHD Prius. There are lots of options for a custom gear selector from the Japanese market, including a push button option refered to above.

No, i have a LHD but just used the picture for reference. I believe they make this shift knob for LHD but i was wondering if there's a easy mod for this. I'm all for cheap or free mods.
