I'm always impressed with the lightweight construction and aerodynamic design of European caravans. If RV manufacturers here better shared those priorities, we probably wouldn't need such monstrous tow rigs.

That Move Control is outrageous! Imagine a way to integrate it with HSD!

The heaviest load I've had in the '07 was probably the ~600 sq ft of laminate flooring. It still maintained speed just fine, but wallowed over the bumps more.

The move control does really work well, and the video does not exaggerate it's abilities. Being able to walk round the van while maneuvering it in tight spaces and on poor surfaces is remarkable.

Helped my grandma pick up a mini freezer today, she was skeptical if it would fit in the Prius...

That pic reminds me of how our Prius looked the first two days out. Actually managed to get everything in the back end with the seats up. But it took some doing...

Great pics and a great road trip too! Prius can do it all!

Thanks! It's always fun loading up a Prius, especially with it being so versatile and spacious.
BTW your rims are gorgeous!! What size and type are they?

Rims/Wheels were on the car when I bought it new. I consider them OEM. Here's the poop on them. NOTE: They are only available in the southwest region of the United States through Toyota. You might find a alternate source elsewhere.

That is what I got from Toyota when inquiring about them. Shown on Window Sticker being installed by Regional Toyota Distribution Center. Got some real nice Michelin Primacy's on her too. Great setup if you like the 17" wheels on the Prius. (Cuts MPG according to sources here on PC)

My wife had a complete set of junior high school drumline equipment plus the two of us in our Prius. Two bass drums, couple of snares, two cymbals sets, and a tenor set. Plus harnesses for them. I think that was all but I might have forgotten something.

It was pretty full. But no pictures.

The problem - I didn't realize when I put them in that I would block being able to see the right mirror. So all I could do was left turns. So I had to go to a friends place that was all left turns, drop off a box, go home and unload and come back for it. I think had I realized it and organized it better, I could have gotten around this, but it ended up being easier to leave it with my friend for a bit than to take everything out and put it back in again.

Also, I move a lot and got fed up with boxes, so I started buying plastic storage bins for moving from Target.

These (if I chose the right ones, "Sterilite Ultra 70 Qt./17.5 Gal. Storage Bin", keep in mind that that price is for 4 of them not just 1 bin) -
ECOM Sterilite Ultra 70 Qt./17.5 Gal. Storage Bi... : Target

Will fit 6 in the back seat, 2 in the trunk/hatch, and 1 in the front seat while still being able to see over it to see the right door mirror. And they're great for hauling stuff - the handle is easy to grip and fits your hand well. When you wonder where certain stuff is you can see right into the bin and see which bin has what.

No pic right now of the car fully loaded, but they've been pretty handy. I got tired of the stress of moving, started moving my stuff into a storage locker early with my Prius, then on moving day I rent a truck and move the big stuff with some help (mattress, couch, kitchen table, etc), then later come back and move the stuff out of the storage locker, again with the Prius.

I've had 3 bikes in it. Not disassembled or anything.
I've had 8 pieces of 8 foot 2x4 lumber plus tools, etc.
I've moved twice almost completely with the prius, just one trip with a pickup.
A 65" TV in the box. With another 55"on top.
Slept two adults in the back while camping. Comfy and with A/C and TV, hah!

We have a seasonal Christmas wreath business and had to haul a bunch of stuff and drive 45 mins in a snow storm to get it. This is what we got into the back of our new to us '05 Prius.
    25 standard wreaths
    10 Kissing Balls
    1 balsam cross
    36 total items...we were impressed!!

I just did this yesterday. Hot tub that I estimate weights 600-700 pounds. Cruised down the interstate with ease. Should have seen the looks I got from people especially other Prius owners. Haha
