unscrew counter clockwise

 

Trying out some black PlastiDip and a light mist of PlastiDip Glossifier on my rims. Change the look from silver for a bit.

 

Went into Toyota Sunnyvale for my 5k service yesterday. Should have taken, maybe an hour at most with an appointment?


Left with with a loaner for 4 days with the "Maint Reqd" lit on the dash and $50 cash for gas. This after 5 hours of waiting and then meeting with the Service Manager and the Service and Parts Director. During which time, the Service and Parts Director advised me to stay up to date on my maintenance schedule.

How ironic...

Don't bother with an appointment at Toyota Sunnyvale. A senior service advisor stated an appointment gives you minimal priority over customers that choose to do drop in services and work could begin as much as 3 hours after the scheduled time.







But on a high note, I received my name badge for my Prius.


I see it being destined for the side of a pc or filing cabinet drawer.

Nothing spectacular, although did the 92 k-miles service a week ago, and today I blocked the grille (it's starting to cool down here in the NE - brrrrrr!!!!)

Just got done like 5 mins ago, installed led floor lights on the driver and passenger side that only turns on when the headlight and or parking lights are on, using parts from local auto parts store, full write up coming soon! For now enjoy these pictures!

Installed led fog lights

 

Day off today, so I Test fitted 1 SSR Competition Type C wheel 17 x 7.5 before installing TRD springs tomorrow.

(2) JBL GTO804 8" Installed into my custom sealed box. Still have access to my spare tire and jack. Used 12" speaker grills painted to match the trim. Used the oversized grills incase I want to upgrade the sub size later.
