Good afternoon, I am the original owner of a 2004 Prius with 253,000 miles on the odometer still with the original HID bulbs. Just recently, it appears the intensity or brightness of the bulbs are not what it used to be. Has anyone experience the same and although both bulbs still works, should I replace them? Any advice would be helpful and much appreciated. Also on another matter, the retractable trunk lid no longer retracts, any advice? Thank you and happy motoring.
HID give you lots of warning. They get pink when they are failing and sometimes refuse to light on first try. Replacement is fun to. I have big hands so I had to drop the bumper on my 2005. Hey, that's allot of miles, is that your first battery?
