Hey all. I bought a 2011 Prius last month. It was advertised without a trim level. It has heated leather seats, GPS navigation, satellite radio, JBL with cd changer and bluetooth. As I wrote in the title, I'm pretty sure it's a Four. Can you confirm this? If so, I got a hell of a deal! Thanks for all your help!
It most likely is a 4 or higher, it has the leather heated seats. At this point, just say you got a 4, so you'll feel good about it. You already own it.
If you join, log in and register your vehicle on the Toyota.com website using your VIN, it should be able to tell you your trim model. I know when I registered my Prius, it showed the trim level in the description. Hope this helps, and let us know what you have! Maybe I'm getting cranky (crankier?) due to the hour - Doesn't a 2011 cost the proverbial pretty penny? And it was bought without much if any research into what is included? So it may have been a good deal AFTER the fact? Reminds me of the "you have to vote for it before you can find out what's in [the bill]" nugget. CONGRATS on the accidental great purchase, nevertheless.
Yeah. It worked out really well. The car was advertised as a base model, but I could clearly see a touch screen in it. I knew it wasn't just base. I got in and saw the JBL speakers and I knew it wasn't just a Two. I thought maybe it was a Three, but I did some research and leather isn't even available in a Three. So I figured it was a Four and wanted to confirm. No solar or moonroof. Stoked on getting this for the same price as a 2010 Two I was looking at with similar mileage.
Also - the IV should say "Plasmacluster" on the radio face. If it doesn't, you may have aftermarket leather seats. As mentioned, it's best to check the VIN at the Toyota Owner's site.
Thanks! Yeah. It has the Plasmacluster ionizer. I was never able to find the trim listed on Toyota's website, however.
