Well actually it was yesterday and not today. Got some new shoes.

Installed my side window visors from ebay yesterday. They were the JDM style ones for $44. Sorry guys, didn't document the install.... It was only me installing in a full garage...

I had to replace the 3m double sided tape in 4 areas. The tape came mashed and bundled up in a few areas. I removed the uneven tape and replaced with new 3m double sided outdoor grey foam tape. Cleaned the area off with alcohol really well before I installed the visors. Lets up they hold up in this SoCal heat.

Overall I'm happy with the results. The plastic was a smoked clear plastic. Not as dark as some other ones i've seen. Looking at my car now in person, these visor don't stick out as much as I thought they would. results came out good.

It does have this "HIC" sticker on each side of the front visors. I'll be removing this soon. Going to try using floss to take it off the adhesive and rubbing alcohol to clean it up.

Would love to hear some suggestions on how to take that sticker off safely.

This weekend project will be my ottonavi gps install. Been debating if I just should take my unit to be installed professionally. I need the back up camera installed also and really don't want to rip out the interior myself.... yea i'm lazy... lol

 

Not today but drove to Charleston, SC for the weekend. 5 people in the car with luggage and drove a little faster than usual and still returned 45mpg. Extremely impressed.

sorry I'd have to go with neither as well... pin stripe was the first thing I removed when I brought the car home

 

I like the red one. And I do like pinstripes, and have one on mine.
