Twin mattress fit hatch?

    Anybody get a Twin mattress into the back of a Gen II?

    I measured and I know the hatch wouldn't close and the mattress couldn't lie flat, but...it seems one Twin mattress might just fit at an angle.

    Hope someone has tried. Thank you very much!

    I did it. Fold down the back seats and the front of the mattress will be resting on the back of the front seat. Close the hatch. You'll be brushing your head on the front left corner of the mattress but it wasn't a big problem for me. I only had to move 15 miles.

    Next trip was the box spring.
