Just watching the noon news and I see a video of a Gen III Prius being washed away. All I can think is why not a GM Cobalt instead? Kyle Canyon flood rescue video: People pulled from stranded cars by Creech Air Force base airmen - wptv.com
How do you know I'm a hater? That's a reach. Maybe, I don't appreciate GM admin. sans anyone in car being washed away?
Easy. When I see a story about people being rescued I'm able to think about other things than hating GM. I wouldn't have bailed them out personally, but I think that they're better than Chrysler at the CAFE thing these days and the Volt is still kicking despite Prius owners sticking pins in little car voodoo dolls. :0
The big difference between you and me is that I have rescued people in dire aquatic circumstances like that. Multiple times. The point I am making is that you know who I am. Yet, you call me a "hater." While I understand your POV - and that's all it is - you don't seem to understand, nor realize the implications the word "hater" carries with it. While I might be able to imply a few things about you - I don't spell it out as invective on the internet. Note: the older couple in the Prius were rescued by rescuers willing to put their neck on the line. The other car was thankfully abandoned.
new to the internets? "haters gonna hate" is not much more than a popular meme. something to say to people that say something negative about something (which you did in your original post) No point in reading too much into it taking it as some kind of personal attack and getting in an argument with an anonymous stranger in a forum about it. it may help your future internets experiences if you try to not get too upset about things people you've never met have to say.
I hate to see ANY car get destroyed, especially a discontinued one. If they are still in good shape (even a Cobalt) I'd rather see it go to Jay Leno or some other collector. Preserve history. Otherwise the Car might end-up like the Zero aeroplane (no longer exists).
