Going to work tonight I put something in my lower glove box then went to shut and it won't shut! Feels like something is blocking it from shutting all the way but Ive looked and felt all the way around it and I see nothing. Any ideas? Still has warranty in it so may jus get them to fix it Wednesday when it'll be there getting an alignment all the way around after being lowered
Did u try taking everything out and then shutting it to see if it works?? Also, if something spilled out and got lodged in front of the glovebox (firewall side), then that would prevent it from shutting
Yea I took it all out and didn't change... guessing since there nothing mechanical to it there's gotta be something behind it... jus watch a video of a cabin filter change to get the glove box open to change it so Ima try that tomarrow and look behind it
is the latch stuck? can you push the open button all the way in and feel the latch open or hear the latch click like it normally does when opening the upper or lower door?
Mine gets 'stuck' somewhat regularly, I think vvill has it right, manually push the inside 'latch' and then give the hatch a strong, and slightly wiggly push shut
Solved! As I worked last night and jus woke up to look at this thing while not being tired... it ended up being my dang cabin filter cover had come off and was laying in a position where it wouldn't allow my glove box to shut! I know... dumb haha glad it was something that easy though
