I got my rear bumper protector at Amazon for about $35 with free shipping. It is sold by Toyota through Amazon. It goes on with double sided tape...and boy does it stick tight. Make sure before you attach it to the car, try it without the tape so you know you are placing it at the right spot and it lays FLAT. Maybe make marks where you want to put it. I put mine too far forward, that is too close to the hatch opening and it doesn't fit down flat on the bumper in the middle where the protector is curved. You can't see that except on the ends of the protector where it sticks up 1/4" off the car in the middle of the protector. I should have put it back further from the opening where it would lay flat on the bumper. Tapes too strong to take it off and place it perfectly - but it's ok - I can hardly see it and no one has noticed.

Click on the picture if you can and it will take you there. I put the link in my message, but it turned into the picture, that is a link. Let me know if that doesn't work. Got it at Amazon for $35 free postage.

If clicking on the picture doesn't work, go to Amazon and search for "prius rear bumper protector" and it will come right up. Be careful as other protectors come up that are not for your year of Prius or for the C model or for the V model. This one was the first item in the list that came up when I searched on Amazon. It is sold through Amazon by Toyota.

I am going to the garage to clean and vacuum my Prius - I just took 4 dogs to the veterinarian for their annual vaccines - so the car is full of dog hair. I'll check back here in an hour or so to see if you have questions.

Amazon, for about $36 from Daytona Toyota. As was pointed out it sticks on real tight with the double sided automotive tape so dry fit it before you peel the liner.

Had one on my last Prius and liked it a lot so got one for this one :)

I am not trying to scare you but I just read very recently somewhere about transporting dogs in a hybrid car. The dog hair will get in to the vent and clog it up in there, giving you a problem. Just thought I would pass the info along to you for what it's worth to you.

I believe that since the battery vent is in the back seat. I've done this once - got to get their shots. I will have to figure out something else for future trips - maybe some fine mesh screening or something. Thanks!

Well that does it, can't take my dog to the vet once a year for his annual shots and someone posted that you can't commit suicide with a Prius, have to run a hose from the neighbors car. I'm selling my Prius!!! (not):D:D

Of course you won't sell it. Dogs come first. You know that.

Wrapped my roof and removed rear wiper. The roof wrap was much more difficult than I thought it would be. [IMG][IMG]

Took our 2014 Prius 4 for its first ride today, 120+ miles driving the way I drive my van. 50% freeway at 65, 25% highway at 55-60 and the other 25% on city streets at 40-45. Displays shows 58.8 mpg. It'll be awhile before I fill up, so I don't know how accurate that is.

Still trying to figure out how to 'import' an address from my phone for navigation. Posted specifics in the Audio forum, but no solution yet. :(
