Next, the install. I put these under my Clazzio seat covers (see above posts). I used the add-a-fuse in the above post to take advantage of the 15AMP heated seat fuse that the Prius C would have used had it come with OEM seat heaters.

Next, I popped out the button inserts by the EV/ECO buttons and drilled them out to accomodate the InstallBay 3-way switches:

I screwed up drilling one of the buttons and needed to do some JB welding to fix it. I'll have the finished button pictures in the morning when its dry.

Buttons installed. They need a little touch-up still, but are fully functional and installed now.

I changed my front badge so the background now has a carbon fiber background. I was unable to change the back badge for now... IMG_20140701_092659494_HDR.jpg

How did you get the side mirror bulbs swapped to LEDs? Isn't it sealed in?

I fixed two bubble that had came on on my front badge. I de-badged my two back badges and got rid of the ugly blue on the rear badge and let the stock color show. I hope the tape I used stays on.

Today I installed the front bumper "garnish" - it's pretty neat - it has a metallic black finish. I put a blank black plate on it since I live in a no front plate state. I have a Prius C badge on order to stick on to the plate.

Where did you get the garnish? Online? It looks really nice.
Also, nice pic. Your C looks really nice there.

I removed the Passenger Air Bag OFF and Air Bag ON signs from my dash. They're one of the most complained about things in
the Your complaints/disappointments with your C? | PriusChat thread. I saw someone else do it (I can't find the post) and figured, what the heck.

So I followed this video to remove the panel, it was super easy.

So then my car looked like this, IMG_20140704_132159174.jpg

Then I blacked out the section I wanted with permanent marker. The permanent marker wasn't doing well. Use your sisters nail polish, the coat is thick and it blocks all the light.

    IMG_20140704_131635834.jpg

I used my camping flashlight to make sure no light could come through and installed it back in my car after waiting forever for it to dry.

    IMG_20140704_132029693.jpg

Finished product is great. it makes a total difference and makes me less OCD.

And this is why states do inspections on cars! How will you know if the airbag has a malfunction?

Black electrical tape would have been a simpler and easier method of blocking out the icons and which can be removed when needed.
