I've seen the delivery vehicles for Google Shopping Express around for awhile. My co-workers have been talking about it a lot today due to a promo that expires soon. From the bottom of Google Shopping Express: I'm going to be joining soon and will take advantage. They definitely deliver to my work. From The stores on our site - Shopping Express Help, it seems like they currently only serve the SF Bay Area, West Los Angeles and Manhattan. Discuss.
I noticed Amazon released a 'Fire phone.' The lay news reports emphasized the phone pushes Amazon purchases. I also have an iPhone and as a pioneer, iTunes supports an Apple profit center. So I'm beginning to wonder if we're going to see future phones as supporting vertical integration with the other profit centers, another marketing approach. Will there (is there?) an eBay phone? The reason I ask is I am interested in trying again to give my wife a 'pad' device. About 3-4 years ago, we tried the Barnes and Nobel nook but it didn't work out. I was hoping the book-like device would work for my wife but she never really took to the nook. So the challenge is finding a device that is infirmed friendly: light weight - older hands are not so strong non-modal - older minds have short-term memory challenges historical-like - maximize look and feel of traditional devices Just curious if there are any recommendations? I don't think they will deliver perishable items. At least that's what a coworker said. I've seen them drive around Prius v wagons and small Ford vans (Transit Connect?), so I doubt they're outfitted for any sort of refrigeration.
