If you don't care about having a functional AM/FM, why not just buy one of the shark fin dummy antennas for $20?

I was worried about it but after simple tapped into the Homelink mirror, it's working without any problem.

:confused:What would I gain? The factory antenna mount, minus the antenna, looks close enough to a aftermarket "Shark Fin" antenna, or cover. The black color is close enough on my Winter Gray Metallic Prius. If "time is money", even $20 is a unnecessary expense, while insignificant. As stated in my original post, "consider this another option".

IMO, it would look better without something sticking up. Maybe a metric hex screw?

:)Still a work in progress, but I like the look. I stopped by Lowes this afternoon. Checked out several options. I purchased two black plastic plugs that fit the threaded hole in the base, but the diameter is too big and flat. Need something smaller and tapered. Will respond back with other options.

I put 5000k led bulbs in my factory fogs to match my hid's then took my fog lights off and put on DARK yellow lense vynal. Looks CRAZY good! I put the vynal on with them on the car and was almost impossible to do without rinkles so it bothered me until i took them complety off to redo them, not im happy with it! haha

Thanks, but I want to know what setup toyopri808 has, those are really nice cutoffs on the foglights.

Agreed. They look great. I also have yellow vinyl on mine, but they're not nearly as saturated, I suspect he's using yellow bulbs in addition to vinyl?
Either way, they look awesome and I want.

you could also use the yellow fog light housing and pair it with a 3000K HID..... here's my old set up before I replaced my fog lights with projector housing...

Unfortunately, those have no discernible cutoff, there is a lot of glare. Unlike your current setup. (y)

Which projector housing are you using, bino?
I used to have 3000K in my xB fog lights, but they didn't glare so damn bad.

    Hi bino!
I tried yellow fogs as well. No cutoff, and street signs had a yellow tint to the letters. They seemed to over power the HID bulbs I installed, so I switched back to white halogens & aimed them a bit lower.

Removed the hub caps-found out there are some cool split spoke wheels under there. Ordered some center caps.
