It is really nice that the site let me logon........for the first time in almost a month......but it's hardly a good thing since the response is so SLOW that it's painful.

Am I the only one who is waiting near to 30 seconds for pages to load ??
    All pages and all functions.

Is there even a "Homepage" anymore?
I only see access to forums directly or Prius Chat Shop...

I don't mind this "change" but I liked having a Prius Chat homepage, which allowed for general access to incoming information. This lead to general discussion.

The "forums" page being the only homepage doesn't allow for a visual input to new posts on all encompassing topics.

On the positive side, I no longer have to look at that fat guy with chopsticks eating giant sushi every time I come to Prius Chat.

The CHEF has stirred his alphabet soup, thus my tablespoon no longer has any letters in it that I recognize. May I have some more porridge please?

Yeah, noticed this too. And if I click "home" in the Prius Shop it takes me to the Prius Shop home. A little frustrating, you learn to avoid it I guess.

Seems a little sketchy if by design: more typically if you click on a prominent title logo of a website it takes you to the true home page, not the gift shop. But considering the lack of annual dues etc, I shouldn't be complaining.

Also, just like to say, as an Windows IE11 browser user:

I can now click on edit, and edit my message in the first pop-up window, don't have to go to "more options".

OTOH, if I want to quote someone, I continue to have to right-click quote button and choose "open in a new tab". If I just left click "quote" I get an editor with no quoted text. This has been the case since the advent of IE11.

One other thing, the member icons no longer indicate what car you're driving. By design?

Sorry about that. That was an inadvertent setting.
That's part of the ongoing search server issue. Hope to have that fixed soon.
A new homepage is being constructed. The old portal just wasn't getting any traffic, so I'm re-approaching the concept. It's set temporarily to redirect the root domain to /forum/. The news forum is one of my favorite forums, so I'll definitely be looking at ways to keep it integrated into the homepage changes.
After you click the '+Quote' button, click "Insert Quotes at the bottom right of the reply box. Or use the Reply link if you're only replying to one post.

Didn't notice "reply" (new? can't remember), and...: it works just fine with IE11, no need to open a new Tab. Thanks!

I no longer see post number links within threads (such as "post #32"). I used to use those as a source of direct links to specific posts in a thread.

Also, I didn't see how to easily find a link for "find my own content". I used to use that link in the old user profile page to find things I had posted recently.

Otherwise, it works great so far. It feels faster, at least when accessing it on my iPhone 5S.

I like the look, a lot. And, I am sure I will like it more when I get used to it.

HOWEVER -- sort of along the line of posting the same question over and over again -- in a galaxy far, far away, there was feature that when I went to make a post, it stopped me and asked to look down at a list of several threads, which were already on the board and were quite alike to the post I was about to make.

That feature caused me to NOT post duplicate questions many times -- it was very helpful. I suppose there is no chance of that returning....

Thanks much for finally making the site usable on an iphone again. Is there any chance you can get rid of the tapatalk pop-ups and banners? Or give the opportunity to opt out once and never see them again?

    Nice look, Danny...BUT:
You should have made location and vehicle year/type required fields and visible beneath the avatar. It really helps to know where the poster is from and which vehicle they're talking about, if only to avoid unrelated replies.

    Initial impressions, I'm pleased!
    • mult-column format - better screen estate usage
    • seeing the Gen I forum on the master page -> hopefully more folks will find it instead of posting in wrong forums
    Thanks,

This is sooooo much nicer. This forum was virtually unusable on my iPhone, and I did not (and still don't) want Tapatalk. I like this much better, and even on my PC it's less glitchy and seems to run more smoothly. I find it easier to navigate. Thanks.
