I called WheelSkins today, and sent them a picture showing the gap, and they agreed with you, and are sending me another (slightly longer & wider - carefully measured this time, in black - plus another spool of thread so I can offer the Charcoal-Grey cover to someone who might need it) - how refreshing to get decent Customer-Service from a company in these Droid-driven, Jobsworth-manned, auto-telephone-answering system times! The Neb & I are new pair. We're on our 3rd tank of gas together and my first Prius. We had the seats and interior upgraded to the Katzkin leather/heated front seats in mid April. I just got a cargo net for the trunk (envelope style), rubber floor mats, a recycling bin and changed the factory smart-key entry setting to unlock all doors. Next up a trip to the car wash!

Recently I restored my headlights, using the professional method of sanding and clearing with automotive grade clear coat with UV protectant. here is a couple before and after pics.

You didn't go through your insurance? Road debris claims are common and they'll treat them under the cheaper comprehensive coverage if you tell them it was airborne at the time of impact. Translation: You only have to pay the lower comprehensive deductible.
