How to unlock the trunk

    When I use the sensor in the door handle, all doors open except the trunk, how can it be open automatically using the sensor?

    On the lower trim Gen III Prius the Auto door unlock only works from the driver side door. You can customize the unlock feature to unlock all doors. As always the manual has the details.

    Push the unlock bottom on the key fob 2 times.

    You should be able to open the hatch after unlocking all doors from the driver's door SKS. Or, as stated above, press the unlock button on your fob twice.

    I just read the manual, I now have an idea how, I will give it a try, it states to press unlock and lock keys from fob to unlock all doors or just one door

    That is to change the setting, from one unlock mode to another.

    Yes indeed, my original question was wrong, only the drivers door was opened and not the rest including the trunk.
