2010 Prius Halogen High Beams Not Working

    Replaced bulbs & checked fuses. Low beams work & the high beam indicator comes on the dash. any other place to troubleshot? Thanks!

    My wild guesses:
    Missing ground
    Bad relay (assuming that there IS one)
    Bad switch in the steering column.

    If you have automatic headlights, it becomes a bit more complicated.
    The low beams could be on as DRLs but the HIs wouldn't come on at all if the system "thinks" it is not dark enough.

    P.S. How exactly did you "check the fuses" ?

    I think the low beams are on as drls b/c they are not very bright. I replaced the fuses.
