I will start by acknowledging I am very lucky ! My 88 year old neighbor let me have this '04 for $2200. He put in his share of dents and dings, but it has been dealer serviced, have all records, window sticker, etc. Has 61,000 on it. I work as a medical courier and will be logging around 190 miles per day here in Columbus, Oh. About 50/50 highway and side roads. Looks like I can beat my 24mpg from the old 300k Ranger lol.... Think I found a great site here and am sure I will rely on it quite a bit. I know nothing about this and have always been a big DIYer. Very excited 1 1/2 days into driving it and like what I've read here...
Very kind neighbor who was aware it was worth much more. That is actually what the local Toyota dealer offered him on trade in....rather insulting I think. He was recently widowed and wanted a coupe, so he bought a '14 Scion TC. Everyone's happy ! Thanks to all for the friendly welcome notes
I miss my seafoam prius. man, i wish i didn't sell it. maybe i will come back after the crv lease. i am only getting 22-24 mpg now.
Nice setup you have there. Now with 215/55R17 I know that the speedometer will not be accurate. But did it compromise your MPG?
I got Marshmallow on Saturday! I've been averaging 47.7 MPG compared to the 20 that my 2012 Mustang used to get I'm so happy!
I am a new owner of a 2008 Prius. I am loving it so far! I like these forums and I hope to learn alot here. There are a few things about the car I hope to learn here.
