I have a 2012 V that I got late fall early winter and I have over 15K on it now. Looking to break 25K per year with business traveling.
2fas4u: this is just incredibly cool! i've been following you from the gen 2 prius you had and now this. love reading your updates and posts about the new V. I have a 2012 model two prius hatch. i like the V space, just wish it was all wheel drive and a bit more power. Did you ever look into a Highlander hybrid or the Camry Hybrid? any thoughts about those with putting on these kind of miles?
I would think the camry might be more comfortable, long term, long rides. nice large up front area in highlander too, though nothing close to this kind of mileage.
Today marks 1 year for me with my Priusv I purchased it through Dianne Whitmire in Carson after reading so many awesome reviews and it was so smooth and she is the best. I have 86,761 miles as of today running about 8-10k miles a month will post pic real soon when I hit 100K. ~Estela here is a pic taken 12/26/13
Oil Change/filter every 7K miles rotate tires every 5K I had husband change ATF @ 60K fairly simple Original tires I hit 90K on the 24th it won't allow me to post pic
118778 as of 04/22/14 new tires purchased at costco bridgestone turanza but different model not happy with mpg I am getting under 40 at highway speeds of 63 with my other tires I was getting 48mpg. It could be the tire pressure the techs set it to I am going to up the pressure to 40 and see how it goes if not these tires need to go One of my low beams went out and a plate light as well I drive mostly at night as I work graveyard. Will be changing out ATF oil @ 120
Update 127195 The bridgestone turanza serenity plus were returned the pressure did not help my mpg after 6k miles I asked the sales person why the tire were not giving me great mpg they stated the tire was heavier than OEM It was a very nice smooth tire but not if you drive how I do I was losing 2 gallons of gas a day I was livid.. I bought some continental pure contact eco plus through tire rack and had a local shop install them I asked them to put the pressure to 42 / 40 after 2,000 miles I noticed my mpg were still off last night I checked my tire pressure it was 30 / 33 moral of the story double check tire pressure. I filled them up to 44 /42 and amazingly my mpg is now on point loving my priusv once again. I had husband change my spark plugs / atf oil @ 120K will update when I get to 150K ~Estela
Just passed 150K still runs like new no complaints here. so far changed coolant spark plugs atf X's 2 1 set of tires oil @ 6K to 8K tire rotations air filters pcv ~Estela
