I am just about to the warning bars and the corners are getting smooth.

I went to Les Schab and was offered 2 different tires in the 175/65-15 size.

The Versado Eco All Season with a 50k warranty and the Ultra Z-900 All Season with a 80k warranty. The Versado is listed as a low rolling resistant tire and is about $15 more per tire.

Has anyone used either tire and can offer some input. I would like to stay with Les Schwab tires because there availability in my area.

These are store brand tires? Do you know who the manufacture is for this brand? What is the price?

Both I believe are made by Toyo.

You say you want them because they are available in your area? You can't get Bridgestone/ Firestone, Michelin, Good Year or other name brand tires in your area? Unless you are saving over a hundred dollars a tire, I would stay with the name brands. If these are Toyo, I am sure they are a low end tire from Toyo. Have you shopped on Tire Rack? They will ship tires to your installer, and they have the best of the best tires to select from.

I live in simi rural area. Yes there are all the other tire retailers, but not in all the areas I frequent.
Les Schwab seem to be everywhere so thats who I would like to stick with.

25k is pretty quick, but 90% of that is on curvey mountain roads. I dont drive in the slow lane and with addition of a rear sway bar, the C handles pretty well.

Do you have Costco near by? I just got 4 tires for around $387xx I think after 8% sales tax in SoCal installed after $70 rebate of 4 tires. The brand is Ecopia EP422, and they are like night and day compared to OEM tires to me, it's quiet making me think I'm driving a different car.

I've never had good luck with oem tires and usually try to change them out w/in 6 months or so. They just don't seem to have the handling characteristics I look for. Will be changing out the turanza el400s that came with my Priuc C two for General altimax rt43 185/60R15 from Tire Rack - best rated/tested tire they have for the Prius C - and at a price 30$ cheaper per tire than the turanzas. Can't wait to see how the "little roller skate" handles then.

If you are wearing out the edges faster than the centers, try more air pressure. Add 4 PSI to the front and back pressures and see how that wears.

Les Schwab service is unparalleled in my opinion, I would at least try the LRR tires from them.
