Looks great!! Did you have to use spacers for the front/rear ? The wheels have a 30mm offset

That's right. Take a close look at this shot.

Unless you have a well equipped machine shop at your command, fabricating these brackets on the cheap would probably make a cool mod uncool.

Thanks! It's very easy to do, there are plenty of videos on Youtube that show you how to step by step. It comes in a can like spray paint, which I bought at Lowes for like $6 each. It took 3 cans to do all the wheels and emblems. All you have to do is mask off the emblems about an inch all the way around. You spray about 5 coats and when your done you just peel off the excess and it cuts itself around the emblems. (If that makes sense?) I will post a couple of links for the wheels and emblems.

    For the Wheels:

How do you avoid getting in in your brakes when doing the wheels?

I just cut up trash bags to cover the brakes. I would also recommend putting some newspaper or plastic down by the bottom of the wheel to prevent overspray from getting on the ground. I didn't think of that until after I was done.

Fonzie at dipyourcar.com shows you exactly how to do it. Plasti dip has really been revolutionizing painting in my opinion. So many color options and now they make an insert where it looks a different color depending on the sun light. Pretty cool haha.

If you cut a plastic garbage bag in half. Then, feed it through your spokes and wrap it around your brake drum. Any overspray on the tire can simply be peeled off.

so one doesn't have to make a real mask for the emblems?
& they stay on the car all the time?
how will that work with that "cuts itself"?

Have you looked at the site I quoted above? They have specific professional videos explaining everything you need to know about plasti dip and the process.

    But to answer your question:
No, not an exact mask around the emblem. The way plasti dip works (literally removable/peel-able plastic in an aerosol can) is that when you spray on your 5 or so coats, you will remove the tape and begin to peel up the overspray. When you get to the edge of the emblem, the plastic will separate at the edge of the plastic-paint, creating a "cut" automatically. You'll see what I mean after a video or so. They have a specific video for emblems, I believe.

    Hope that helps.
