Yes, you have to run the wire through the hatch boot. But the kit comes with all the wiring.

 

Since I never use my CD changer I made my 128gb iPad mini with retina display WiFi + LTE my main ICE (In Car Entertainment) and GPS. Mounted it with PPYPLE CD slot adapter.

These look very interesting and I wish the Prius came stock with this. That said, for me it's not worth doing the mod since I'm not in the trunk all that often. A lot of times when I buy things like groceries, etc, and just have a few bags, I put them in the back seats.

 

Purchased a '13 Prius v Three for my pops last December as a Christmas gift. Just ordered a set of JDM Prius alpha window visors for it. Taking it in for tinting next week after dropping my '12 Four off for the recall fix and 25,000 mile Toyota Care service. Still have a crap load of JDM stuff to install on my Prius and the fiancé's Prius C, just no time/lack of priority, lol.

 

Nice gesture. Can't do enough for family, if they're worthy.

 

I originally had plans to pick up a '14 ct200h F as a weekend cruiser, but quickly changed my mind after driving my pops '94 Camry. It felt like it was going to fall apart every time I stepped on the brake. My parents worked their asses off all their lives to ensure we're where we are today. Unacceptable that his kids are driving newer, nicer and safer cars than he is.

I paid $139 (free shipping) from Amazon (vendor "EchoMaster").
The installation was probably about six hours of screwing around -- not hard, just inconvenient.
Was it worth it? I like it for the gizmo factor, and I would do it again.
But I don't depend on it much. I still twist my neck around before backing up.

 

This is a big issue for me. How much extra length does the bolt have? Can you upload a snapshot?

 

Are your gas strut hood supports aftermarket?

 

Yes, way nicer then using a broom stick.

 

Dylan, I likely won't get a snapshot but you have enough length to add up to 4 washers. I did 3 washers each side on my v, but on my previous 2010 IV, I did 4 and it tilted the front of the seat up just right for thigh support. I may end up adding 1 more on my v.

 

Plastidipped my headlight bezel and removed the orange reflector Saturday night. Also put in yellow Nokya bulbs for the high beams, "yellow" CREE LEDs on the corners and whatever bulb is above the headlight, and some high powered gas-filled LEDs in the front blinker, where I used to have switchback SMD LEDs (which are temporarily in my rear blinker slot till I figure out what to do with my taillights.

Searching eBay and Amazon, there appear to be a few different lengths, 1.5", 3" and 4.5".

I figured 3" was just about perfect since the 1.5" would likely look like nothing and the 4.5" not that much shorter than stock.

 

tinted my windows + windshield yesterday and today got some new PIP all weather mats

 

Installed stage 10 7 color electronic shifter. Also completed installing Clazzio leather seat covers for the front seats. Will continue with the back seats over the weekend. Love the seat covers very comfortable

I have not been bold enough to tint my windshield. I'm concerned it will draw too much attention from the cops.
