I believe this is a very low oil consumption.
4 ounces per 5 k miles...
About 1 ounce per 1000miles...

 

Alright slight setback. Check eng P0171 code still running concern or not any suggestions just to confirm what I researched. Possible vacuum or maf. Thanks.

update: drove about 600 miles with light on no noticeable problems. turn on car to go to work light light went off has not come back on 500 miles later.

 

I'll give you 3:1 odds it will be back unless you nick the problem in the bud.

Try USB's advice first, and clean the MAF sensor and air throttle. Five minutes, some rubbing (isopropyl) alcohol for the sensor and brake fluid cleaner for the butterfly is all you need. Bob Wilson posted a How To thread if you have not performed this task before.

I find it easiest to spend another 30 seconds to remove the sensor. That way I can just dump it into a baggy with the alcohol, swish it around gently, then let it dry before putting it back. I clean the butterfly while waiting for the sensor to dry. Taking the sensor out also prevents me from spraying it with the carb cleaner, which is a no no.

 

U my friend are correct came back on the other day. I will see about the cleaning an check back with u guys.

total cost $2.00 only because i had none in the house.
isopro alcohol and spray bottle optional
from dollar tree.
took off maf from air box cover cleaned it out drove almost 1000 miles, no check engine.
did not clean trottle butterfly maybe next time.

i guess i should start posting in 300 thread anyways thats all.

 

A bit over 200K getting better gas mileage now that the weather is warmer at night.

 

I will be thrill if I can make it this far with my newly purchase 2015.

tires have 5/32 left they could possibly last me another 2 months but since I have time now to replace I will
They have lasted me 92,397 miles rated to 80K rotated every 5K
I am switching back to oem tires as they have given me the most mpg

Not running as many miles a month
will be replacing ATF @ 240K this will be X's 4
No major issues change oil / filter every 7k rotate tires every 5k

Any suggestions on preventative maintenance I should be looking at?

Throwing codes P0300 and P0301 misfire
I changed plugs @ 196,985 for the second time they are at 72,596
going to have husband change them out and see what comes of it
