I'm tinting my blizzard pearl prius soon and still haven't decided on a darkness of tint. I like the benefits of 3M Crystalline but not sure if 40% will be dark enough to aquire the look I'm after with my black rims and solar roof. Huper Optik was great on a previous car but eventually got scratch marks from the winow felt and I think 3M has them beat with overall heat reduction. Post up if you have your car tinted especially if its BWP. Let us know what %. So lets see those tints!
I have 35% on the side and 20% in the rear and lower. I think photos can be a bit misleading depending on angle and lighting conditions. All of the photos are with the same tint. I think the last 2 show it best.
I was thinking about doing the same thing only 40 on the sides and want to go darker on the hatch window but 3M Crystalline doesn't go any darker.

I had the 3M Crystalline on my Civic hybrid and loved it. After it ting the windshield with 70% you couldn't really see I to the car at all and it looked a lot darker than 40%. I even had people ask if it was a legal percentage because it looked pretty dark. The only issue is that it has an ever so slight brownish color instead of a black color to it. The heat reduction properties of it were amazing though. If it weren't for that, I would have said the hell with it and just do 10% all around.
There doesn't seem to be a thread dedicated to window tint here on the site, so here's the place to post pictures of your car with tinted windows! Do you like the look? Too dark or not dark enough? To get the thread started, here's my 2015 Persona on the drive home from the window tint shop. I couldn't wait to get home to take pictures. The car almost looks sporty now! lol
