Probably better off to purchase a 14 otherwise you get dinged for a one year older car when you upgrade! H

I just attended the San Diego auto show. The changes for 2014 include a yellow color...believe they called it Sunrise. Also, the interior trim is going from blue to silver. No other changes. Waiting patiently for the cars to arrive. I was told they will arrive in LA on January 22nd for distribution in Southern, CA.
i like the summer rain, too, but my husband doesn't care for it. i do wish it was a shade darker and then we both would agree! in terms of the habenero...it seems so "candy shell" vs metallic. ztanos...your thoughts? i am worried because it is more of a matte finish that it will show scratches really easily. like the sounds of the silver vs. grey trim inside, but here in new england, our local toyota place just finally confessed that they won't get here until march or later or maybe they just want to sell me the 2013 (you think?!) and so they are bluffing.....too bad a straight answer is so hard to get.
I have Habenero and it will be two years old soon, paint looks still like day one, I do hand wash it, although it has gone through the dealer car wash 3 times. This color hides dirt well, and does not show much of any swirl marks. I like it because it is the least popular color on the road, most C's are white or silver/gray. I love it as it is the brightest color on the road. So it looks good and is a safety color for a small car.
supposedly the new Prius C will be built by Mazda for Toyota in their new Mexican plant scheduled to start up next month. It will be built on a Mazda 2 chassis but will have petty much the same specs as the current Prius c. There was talkof a higher performance version but don't know how that ended. It would be nice to have a 155 hp model.
AHHHH!!!! Now they bring it in? Not even 20,000 miles on my Summer Rain (which I love) and now the color I wanted when I bought my C is gonna be available! YMMV
You keep repeating this, but the only information that I've ever seen published is that Mazda will be making some kind of subcompact for Toyota in 2015 based on the Mazda 2. It has never been stated anywhere that I can find that this will be a hybrid - what's your source that this will be the new Prius C? I love the Summer Rain color! That is actually what I am going to get once the new models arrive. Can't find a 2013 Prius C 3 in that color right now.
Does anyone have any pictures of the new interior, or of the "yellow" prius? I'm curious to know what that yellow actually looks like, and how it looks in the sun vs. in the clouds vs. at night.
I like the color too. Servco Hawaii started selling Cs in Feb 2012 - a month earlier than the rest of the country. I was there the first morning - and all the Summer Rains were gone... Ordered one and waited till April for it to come in. YMMV
Mine is definitely metallic. It changes shades depending on the angle, but it always has that metallic speckle reflection.
