I am getting a bit tired of the CT200h wheels and the questions that come with it, so I am considering a set of BBS SR wheels.

Does anyone have any pictures of this setup?

    Thanks,

Wheels for 2011 Toyota Prius III

Hmmm...that sounds pretty heavy with it at almost 22 lbs. But hey, it's what u like right?

My understanding is that the OEM 17" wheel is 24 lb, so these are still lighter.

I like the performance of the 17" wheel fitment, but would prefer a OEM wheel (too expensive) or a high-quality aftermarket wheel. These are the first "economical" BBS wheels that I've found, so hopefully they have the quality of their expensive sibling.

Have you looked at the prius plus 17' oem wheels? I think u can find them brand new on ebay for about $1300 excluding tires. Someone here mentioned that they weight 18 or 19 lbs.

I love how they have the "p" on the center caps of the plus wheels so the thieves will have a hard time selling stolen sets of them :)

Getting tired of the questions that come with it? Better not get any aftermarket wheels then ;)

It's the "Lexus wheels on a Toyota" questions that irritate me.

What, Lexus wheels on a Toyota??? Madness!

IMO there's nicer BBS out there, but I don;t know weights. I think that the SRs show off a nice Big Brake upgrade, but the Prius.... not sure. A nice set of RSs would be the business

What size are these wheels? I just got a 2014 Prius III blue in color. Looking for some wheels that will fit stock tires that are 15's....Have looked at several from Tire Rack and others that didn't do much for me. I like the way these look on the car.... The last photo seems a little less shiny that the others. Maybe the lighting? Like the last photo best however............

Never mind.... Just saw them on Tire Rack on 17's...... Trying to stay with tire size on car......

    Nice work Adizon!
Now if only tirerack could replicate the pics.
I think these pics give a very realistic look of the car with the wheels. The ones on the wheel/tire website is pathetic. I would NEVER buy wheels based on the look that the website projects.
The above kinda reminds me of the F Sport package wheels on the IS250/350.
I wish the spokes would've been a wee bit closer, still not bad.
I got a Classic Silver with the OEM 17". I'm thinking of upgrading and I wonder how mine would look with either of these!!

Thanks a bunch Adizon. That was REALLY NICE of you!! The ones you did of the winter grey prius seemed as if the car was a bit lowered.
But, as you said, it does give an excellent visual of how they would look on the car.

    Now, I'm forced to decide.
    1. Either to go for it.
    2. Choose the chrome or
    3. Choose the anthracite
I guess either type wheels would fit, it'd just be a matter of preference.

Thanks for 'making' me consider to spend some $!! :( :) :)

Ron358.....a suggestion, bit the bullet and get the 17"s if you can budget it in. I have the OEM 17" silver on my P5 and I'm averaging 50+ mpg ( not driving like a maniac), but a little on the conservative end and I do keep up with traffic on the highway....65-75 mph. The 17"s will look better and there's no nicer feeling than looking at your ride after you've parked it and giving it a lookback. Plus, the car does handle a lot better with the 17"s than the 15"s!!!
