So far I'm only getting mid-high 40s for MPG, but I've already put 1,000 miles on it and love that its only $18 a fill, which compared to my Jeep Cherokee at $50 a fill, is quite a relief!

It's a Three for those of you who care, almost got a Two, but I really wanted the push button start.

A two has push button but not a three? Interesting... my four has push button BUT I get super nervous with it in situations where someone could try to approach me. I always feel like a brazen car thief could wait for me to get near the car then push me away and take off with it. :-/ we tested it out and they can get pretty far not having the key in the car before it shuts down!! :O Welcome to the family, though!! :) I hear ya! I enjoy filling up my 9.5 gallon tank for $30 (yeaaahh...Washington state gas prices...hssss!) Lol

I am envious of the color!! :p I wanted a blue one but moonglow was all they had. :(

The push button starts with the three. It's really the only three option that I wanted, and the dealer was willing to let me get a Three for only 100 more than a Two, so I figured it was worth it.

I almost got the Habanero, but I thought the cool factor would wear off after a couple months and then I would wonder why on earth I ever got an orange car...

Hahah Habanero was my next choice! I found an inexpensive one myself but it was a prius c 1 and I thought to heck with it if I am going to spend more than $20k on a car; I would get one with all the fun stuff and creature comforts (I really like the heated seats that'll heat your back too lol) ... but I thought I was getting a loaded model. Realized nahh, not quite... no sunroof/moonroof or auto seats. :( But it is still fun.

Welcome, again, if I haven't said it already... I am the only crazy prius c person in my group of friends ... which makes me feel like the honorary college kid fresh off the turnip truck. Lol I get so excited when someone else thinks this vehicle is worth it! :)

Yeah, I had my Three negotiated under $19k, $21k after tax/title/etc.. and then ended up raising the price with the full extended warranty. Oh well, I will be putting 50-70k miles on it a year, figured the extra warranties were well worth the price.

Did you check how many miles the extended warranty is good for? Remember that the extended warranty *begins* only after the factory warranty expires, so at that many miles per year you may end up with no coverage from it.

I extended full coverage of everything to 125k/5 years (whichever comes first).

I'm a consultant, and will drive all over the midwest.

On a side not, a frickin SUV hit me the other day. Fortunately there was no damage that I can see, but the driver decided to back up into me, without checking her rear view mirror as I was sitting behind her.

Depending on where you live, the temperatures lately, coupled perhaps with other factors like your average trip length, I would think mid to upper 40's mpg is very good, but clearly acceptable.

You'll probably enjoy this spring that much more when your MPG's start to improve.

But isn't your car's color what inspired your cool user ID?

Lol Thank you for the compliment! Yes, my children (fans of the new my little pony at age 4 and 2) overheard the salesmen call it moon glow...and thus named the car Luna. :p I get weird looks telling my kids to "hop in Luna!"
