Funny, whenever I post here saying I haven't seen any in awhile, I see one soon after. Just spotted one employed by a driving school, being driven by a learner at the time. I suppose the c is a decent car to learn on, but it might be a bit weird switching back to a regular powertrain.
YIPPEE! I finally MET another C over the weekend. Spotted a Summer Rain pulling into a parking lot and was able to zip in and next to it before the driver got away (the car had advertising on it, so i figured i wasn't being too stalker-ish). Turns out this is the same Summer Rain I sat in at the dealership a while back. The owner is a dog/cat groomer, the C is trim level 3, we chatted for a bit (she's only had the car two weeks) and I turned her on to these forums. I got a picture of the Summer Rain but I don't think I got the two cars side by side.
I'm seeing more and more C's around Los Angeles than I ever have before. I guess they're catching on.
Spotted three today heading from NC to SC. One white, one gray, and another grey 3 (or 4) at the hotel which was my destination. There are at least three in my neighborhood (one being the bright orange)
A new black C was following me down Rainbow on Saturday. They turned into the same parking lot as I did, so I looped around to get next to them. Couple has only had the car for about a week, liking it so far... they didn't even recognize that the car I was in was another C.
The Prius Vs are highly popular here in the Carolinas. I see them buzzing around everywhere. I saw another Black C today coming home from the doctors.
I only spotted one C on my entire 1200 kilometer 5 day trip from Vernon BC to Spokane. A red one parked at a bank parking lot in Spokane Valley. I passed too quickly to tell which model.
Okay, I've seen two Sunrise aka Habanero in two days in two states. The first in a shopping centre car park near home in Sydney... we were parked near each other and left at the same time. Only noticed them as I was about to pull out ahead of them, but I waited and went behind so I could consider following for a bit, but they were going a totally different way. The second was tonight, parked in the Melbourne CBD.
Saw an electric blue c at the corner of Hwy 9 and Bear Creek- we waved and he said "Nice Car!"- first time I have had a face-to-face with a fellow traveler!
I spotted a fellow C today I smiled and nodded and got the nastiest look from the guy. At the next light I rolled my window down and caught his attention he rolled his down and I asked him how he liked his C...He looked right at me and said Really? You got nothing better to do? and rolled up his window. Scratch that guy off the potential car club list. I also see an orange one driven by a very friendly women who waves frantically. She seems nice. I see her all the time. So I was wondering...can we create a Prius Wave similar to the JEEP wave?
Saw two yesterday right in my own residential neighborhood. There is a Silver with California plates across the way from us, and a Summer Rain (also, i think with california plates) around the corner.
I have a blue one parking next to me almost everyday at school but the owner doesn't seem too friendly...
It's c season again for me at the moment, seeing several a week (not counting the c that lives in my complex at home), including several that I've driven behind/alongside/in front of for awhile, with the other drivers always seemingly oblivious to my prescence... although to be honest I more enjoy how it looks to other non-c drivers anyway. Today I got all excited because I saw another c in the carpark at work for the first time, but my excitement was short-lived. There were My Family stickers on the back window. Nooooooooooo.... I went and parked on a whole other level of the carpark.
There are various life scenarios where a Prius c might be the 'right ' car for you. Already having children to outgrow the backseat is not one of them in my opinion.
See them just about every day in my service department, but I cheat alittle I work as a Service Adviser for Toyota... always for maintence they dont break!
