I have a new Persona and can't figure out how to sync my Android HTC for text messages. It is connected and can make calls and connect to the internet. How do I sync for text? Thanks
My friendly advice is don't do it. Too many distractions out there as is. Read the messages on your phone when you're not driving.
The feature is weird. I did not have any success connecting it to any iPhones or HTC One. However, it works with Sony Xperia, as well as, Samsung S4 and Note 3. (Yes, I have a lot of phones. Don't ask why. My wife has stopped asking)
From what I've read, it needs the MAP Bluetooth profile to work. Most android Samsung phone have this MAP Bluetooth profile, but other manufactures don't include it apparently. Goto the Prius Bluetooth advanced settings for your phone and it should show you all the profiles available with your device. If MAP is grayed out or not listed, then that's probably the problem from what I've read. Nexus 7 ? 4
