What have you done to your c today?

I added another cigar band to the trash bag.

 

Just finish my sound proof yesterday night .

 

Add-on mid bar + rigid collar/stiff ring and change standard halogen bulb to Piaa hyper + 4000k ..

Less vibration and better steering response

 

Finally got a mount that is strong enough and looks good enough for the C lol gifts for car that benefit us lol now the phone stays in place... Now all I have to do is find a black cable

 

How's the ride and sound now? I've been thinking about doing this to ours but seems like a big headache and a lot of work

 

Added some stripes to my C last night. Goes from the front to just over the hatch. Second picture is with my interior LEDs on. Going with a orange and blue theme with my white C.

 

• deadened roof, all doors, rear cargo area
• tinted windows 20%, tinted tail lights 20%
• installed new head unit, speakers (and spacers), subwoofer, amplifier

that's about it so far. i didn't take pics of the deadening process, but i have pics of everything else. if anyone cares to see, let me know.

next order of business is to fix the $900 damage to the rear after a hit and run driver left me on the hook for my ($1,000) deductible.

 

i lied. i thought i had taken many more photos
i have photos of my mdf spacers, that's about it. i'll take some of my subwoofer/box sooner or later. the current box was built to incorrect specs and was carpeted w the wrong color...

 

Let my wife drive the fire out of it from St. Louis home. She improved her mpg by 2 on the return trip from Sunday.

not a great pic but you get the idea. the box is over an inch too short still waiting for the shop and/or my credit card company to get it sorted out.

 

what did you use to tint your tail lights?

 

the same 20% film used on the windows. i wanted something that could be [relatively easily] removed in the event i ever got a ticket for them.

 

How did you get around the fins on the side of the tail lights? The vinyl guy I used said there would be issues with bubbling on that area.

 

when i left the shop, it was perfect. after a day or two, there was bubbling. i took it back and had them cut around it and press out the bubbles, it's not perfect as you can see the seams when you're up close.

 

Yesterday, got the chance to install an aftermarket Rostro Cruise Control for the Prius C1. Works pretty great!
