Traded in my 2011 Prius II (Silver) for a 2013 Prius Persona in Black Cherry was under $30 after taxes. In fact, I paid just under $29k with some add-ons and taxes. I think starting was around $27k. Some of the features are nice - but looking back, I was happier with the older model/options. However, I LOVED the color and I was getting tired of silver (my 2011 and 2008 prius colors). I loved getting my back-up camera back because my 2011 didn't have it but my 2008 did. I feel the option packages got a little... scaled side-ways - I guess for cost measures - but just my guess. FYI - the paint protection thingy is overrated. Its applied to the front 6-12" of the hood (approximately). I wouldn't of minded paying a little more to get the whole front and/or the bottom sides protected/covered. -Cal
What add-on did you have? I got Bizzard White, VIP (PIO), illuminated side door sill (PIO) about $30.8 OTD. Blizzard White was so limited stock. There was no bargaining room. Limited dealer only have persona in stock. It was take or leave it deal. But without zero financing, I probably would walk away.
As in the picture - Black Cherry Pearl (love it!). Factory package - Preferred Accessory Package (Cargo Net, Carpet Floor Mats, trunk mats, Rear Bumper Applique). Dealer Package included Front Hood paint protection, tire & wheel package (tire/wheel/key damage "free" replacement), & LoJack. I don't want to get too detailed about the pricing but let's just say all the additionals cost just under $1200. Comment - the paint protection is - uhmmm - overrated - ask what it is exactly or if the dealer has other alternatives than the one optioned with the Prius. Anyways, they cut me a decent deal on the car loan considering it was my 4th and my prior Priuses were paid off. So I basically pay another $3k in interest. Not the way I wanted to go, but I had need of the cash elsewhere. But yeah - very little wiggle room considering it was a "hot item". I wanted the black cherry !!!! *lol*
I have a 2012 Prius Plug In Advance. The Persona wasn't available. I really like the Black Cherry, not sure how difficult it is to keep clean? Love the 17" wheels, which I was able to buy a used set. Overall, the Persona didn't have the right options available and I would have gone with a Prius 5 with ATP if I hadn't gotten the Prius Plug In. Overall, I like the Persona model, still not enough options available for me, and I feel the price is too high for what you get. I could have gotten a Prius 5 with ATP for around$31,000.
I purchased a 2013 Prius Persona on 12/27/2013 for $25,500. List was $31,998.99 with options. Loving the car and it is my daily driver. I'll have to pull out my sticker to get a full list of options. Have added cargo organizer, cargo net and trunk mat.
