K & N air filter

    I'll stick with the OEM filter. I can buy three for the price of the K&N. Then, you should buy the K&N cleaning kit and the oil. Actually, the OEM filters work out to be cheaper.

    This is what I experienced. IMHO it is mostly due to clogged OEM filter and ECU TPS calibration.

    Good thing that K&N has much higher dirt holding capacity, so it will stay like this for next 150,000 mi.

    I have a Drop-In K&N Filter on both Prii….

    I get a slight increase in mpg on both vehicles… it breaths better, but then again its a Prius… but I notice more response especially in the PWR mode; there is no HP gain with the Performance Intake or Drop In filter on the Prius according to K&N.
