I just bought a 2011 Prius III. With that purchase, I left the Subaru Forester forum and came over here. The car I bought has 106000 freeway miles on it (it was a commuter car, carefully maintained and beautifully taken care of) and I managed to purchase it for a great price from a local Toyota dealer. So far, so good, but it's an entirely different animal than my Forester was, so it's taking some getting used to. I am amazed by the room inside of the Prius, it's not as tall, but it seems to be as cavernous as my Forester interior. The one thing I do NOT like is the (terrible) "JBL" stereo. I had a custom install in the Forester, which I saved (Pioneer AVH-P4400BH, Soundstream D50, Sound Ordinance subwoofer, Infinity Reference 3020cs speakers), and I will need to put that system in the Prius. Sometime! Other than the stereo, it's nice car. Quiet, comfortable, interesting (all those displays), and good looking (like a Box Turtle).
I also switched from a Forester to my first Prius. Now I have a Prius v, which has more room in the cargo area, like a Forester. (neither will admit it, but both are station wagons) Welcome to PriusChat! I hope you continue to enjoy your ride!
Spiderman, thank you! My Avatar? There is nothing more "iconically" automotive than an original Chrysler 426 Hemi, no?
It's a great feature! You just click on the camera icon, give it a link to an image (or upload an image from your PC), and it finds other copies as well as close matches.
I do it a little differently. I upload to PhotoBucket, copy the link to the photo, and then use the (I don't remember the word for the code) VB or VL code - and it's there. The photo is embedded - easy! You can use the link to any HTML photo source. I just happen to use PhotoBucket. The code is "IMG", with [] on either side of IMG, then the link, and then "/IMG" with brackets around that code, too.
