Good idea. We had our leather seats figured into the price of car. They picked it up 2 days after we bought it and delivered it 2 days later with the heated leather seats. We love them. Dan
You would if you had a Sheltie that sheds like mad. My previous Ford Focus came with leather and I loved them. Seat covers that come in the Prius C catch everything. Little over$1200.00, got a couple from auto upholsters, one for $1800.00 and they said that was typical for shops around here.
The dealer called the shop and they came picked up the car and brought it back. Cape Girardeau, Mo. Is where the shop is. It was a little over 1100 bux. Would do it again. I got lots of points from my wife for getting the heated seats. Dan
Thought so. Then I don't understand why one would buy a C2 with the intent on putting leather on it. The price delta between the package 4 and package 2 when we bought it was about what was spent on the leather. But when you go higher you also get the fancier head unit and 3 door SKS to name a couple things...
Not sure but I've heard good things about Katzkins. I was in the dealer the other day and one of the Scion tCs had a dealer-installed leather option (and it's listed on scion.ca as a dealer-installed option) and it was pretty darn good. Factory leather tends to keep the side and backs vinyl covered but this leather option on the tC had leather on the side of the seats (didn't check the back) and felt of good quality.
Ours even has leather arm rests on the doors now. Backs of seats also leather. When we bought there was a big price jump up to the 3 and 4. I did not want the keyless option or the wheels. I am sure there are lots of new c's on the lots of dealers now. Back a year and half ago there were not so it was harder to get the prices down. Although I did beat my dealer down to a fair price. Our heated seats have two settings and that makes my wife very happy. I just refuse to buy a new car again with cloth seats. Leather does not stain. Just my feelings on the leather. Dan
