Apologies for such a basic question but I need a replacement panel for the latch/trunk panel on my 2004 Prius. I'm not even sure what this part is called (I've worded several different ways but have yet to find the exact part I need). Basically, the long, horizontal panel that holds both the trunk release plus the auto-lock button; that's half-broken off. Anyone know what this part is so I can begin searching for a replacement?

    Thanks!

I think the following link will help you.

2004 Toyota Prius Parts - AutoNation Toyota Gulf Freeway Parts

Also, you can call these people. Talk to Jake. 800-327-2087 He is very knowledgeable and can guide you to the correct part #. There are diagrams on the page linked above that you click on that will take you to more info.

FWIW, other's have had to replace that item also if it is what I think it is.

Best of luck to you, and I hope the info I posted helps you.

Thanks - that helped. I'm looking for a "lift gate trim."

non sks $200 - sks $245 "lift gate trim"

If you order the part from AutoNation, I would give Jake a call before you order. He can verify the part so you get exactly what you need. He is easy to work with. Same company Patrick Wong recommends. I have used them since they are local. No problems with stuff I have bought.
