Hello everyone.I ordered a back up camera for my Prius 3 and it has a rca jack to hook to the deck.Of course when I get it up to the Entune deck there is no such hookup there.I have no problem stripping the end off the rca wire if I have to but does anyone know where these wires hook up to the entune deck?I have been googling and you tubing for hours and coming up with nothing.Any help would be great.Thanks
Thanks for the reply back.I had already found another thread in the same technical catergory with lots of info.
If u have the touchscreen u dont have a RCA jack in the back you have to get whats called a high and lo to hook through your speaker... I was at the confusion when i installed my jlw sub. The piece is no more then 20 dollars. Pretty sure it should work with the camera too.
I already hacked off the end if the rca cord as explained in that thread and I'm at radioshack right now getting the diodes. I didn't know there were other ways of doing it besides cutting the wire. There is pretty much no information on doing this type of thing on Prius C that I could find besides that 1 thread. I spent days looking for info on it.
