Nope and according to the ranger, it has been raining non-stop for weeks before we got there and later we found out the day after we left is started raining again. Completely and undeniably blessed. I wish I could find more photos...

Does one have to be an Alaskan resident to enter this lottery? Is it Federal, or State run? Or is this a Yogi Bear ploy?

Lottery is for driving in during the Sep 13-16 post-season window , correct?
Plan to be there late June or early July, so we will use the shuttle buses to get around.
    Looks magnificent! Thanks for links.

All I can say is if you get the bra for the car you should get the matching underwear.

No, the lottery next week is for travel dates next summer! Have to book early to even have a chance.

We didn't take the shuttle buses while we were at Denali, but we did take a day-long tour into the park. The roads aren't bad, but are single track in places and very close to the edge of steep drop-offs in others. I was happy to be on a bus rather than driving.

There is a Geodesic Dome House B&B at Denali ...that's where we stayed while there.

Also a lottery I think for that waterfall where the Grizzley's eat the trout jumping up.

I would try that new 3M spray that u c on tv. Spray in on the front to protect from stones and sand.

Wow, very interesting product , but when I checked user reviews of it on Amazon.com, about 1/2 of the users thought it was really great, and the other 1/2 thought it was totally terrible. Seldom seen such a split of reviews, and I wish I could figure out how to make it work correctly for the Prius for the Alaska trip! Anybody have direct experience with that spray-on plastic coating? Might work at least for sand and tiny rock chips altho not larger rocks.

Remember to slow down dirt/rocky roads. That's pretty much all you can do.
It was a heck of a trip.

I've seen temporary screens wired on the front, some out of old screen doors, to protect the grill/hood/windshield. It's either that or a spare windshield. It's been decades since I drove it, so maybe things have improved. Canada let me through with long guns, but not semi auto. Had to have a health certificate for the dog. That may have changed too however. I would love to see posts of the trip.
