Does anyone have suggestions for fixing a chip on the front driver window frame that divides the quarter window from the main? It's like a matte black paint I think. I could get a new frame for around $60 but rather save money and fix it myself.[IMG]

Plastidip. $7 a can and it comes off if you mess up.

Good idea. Should I do all four to match?

Wouldn't hurt, give that extra layer of protection. It is cheap and will probably only use 1 can.

I tested out the Plasti Dip yesterday. The rubber seals make it difficult to get it right.

Ah, might try painters tape. Paint and remove the tape before it has a chance to dry for even edges.

I did that but can't decide if I want to do the rubber seals with the actual frame or try to keep it separate. I guess trying it again is better than getting a new frame because of a tiny chip.

How about overlaying with a matte black vinyl? Also removable if you don't like it, or want to change.
