It all started with a flat tire, and now I beg for your help!

I WISH that could be afforded and that he would give me his current one. I do have an update, though. On Sunday I took the car in to the local dealer to get their opinion. They rotated the tires -- not because that would have anything to do with this, but because they've been on there for about 10k and I want to be sure to stay on that, given the cost of tires. They drove the car around and considered it to be perfect in every way --not that I necessarily believe them. They checked the steering wheel component recall and said that it had been done correctly. So after that, my husband finally drove the car. He claims ....get ready for it.... that it is "fixed." Sigh. So, although there is no reason to believe that any "fix" has taken place, I'm off the hot seat for now. My commendation goes up to LG. I just cancelled my appointment there for tomorrow, because I actually do have my own life to attend to, and they were so gracious. I told them that my husband's attitude about the car being "fixed" might cycle and that I might be calling back. They said "We are here to accommodate your husband's car satisfaction cycles."

    Update! Update!

Now I drove the car. My husband is not imagining things. The work done at the dealership absolutely changed the way it drives. The problem is, they didn't do anything that could change the way it drives. It was not responsive to the steering wheel. Turn either left or right and you got the same amount of lack of response, until you had turned it farther than seemed to be right. Now, its just as it should be. All they did was rotate the tires, change the oil, check to make sure that the recall on the Steering wheel had been done correctly, and it had. So now what???/

Also, it gets the absolute worst mileage it has ever gotten. Its getting 45. We always got 52, then after new tires it was down to 46 to 47, then after LG did a new alignment it was up to 48-49, now after the dealer checked it out, it drives the way it always did before the tires were changed, but the mileage is awful.

What is the tire tread depth of the front vs. rear tires? If there is a big difference that might cause a change in handling if tires with greater tread depth are moved to the front.
What is the tire pressure at each tire now, and how does that compare to the past when your car achieved better mpg?

I'll check the pressure, but the tires are all the exact same age -- 4 new ecopias.

They might be the same age but that does not mean they have the same tire tread depth.
