one for tires and another for the 12V battery which are the common maintenance items, for ready reference as opposed to having a perform a research going over current threads. I think I saw the tires sticky under fuel economy but I think the proper place would be under the Maintenance section. Also, I see a "Common problems and solutions" sticky for the Gen II that would be great to have the gen III as well...
stickies are great, but they can be difficult to wade through as info and comments grow. there needs to be a format where it is simpler to find what you're looking for.
As you probably know I run a section on European tyres and has a "sticky" in the gen3 section even though much relates to gen2 and others making it more difficult to find for those other than gen3 users. I do understand though we could end up with more sticky's than posts. John (Britprius)
I think in some stickies, the main post is kept updated with the latest info regardless of how long the thread might run. If this is done by whoever is monitoring the forums, then all that one would have to look at would be the main post in the sticky. I think this is how the current stickies are being managed in any case.
